Netflix:

Netflix has made a huge investment in stand-up comedy recently. Their catalog includes a wide range of specials from both fan favorites and emerging comedians. Whether you’re into classic acts or want to discover new talent, Netflix has a vast library of specials to choose from. Additionally, you can explore specific comedy genres using Netflix’s “secret codes,” such as “Stand-up Comedy” (code 11559) or “Dark Comedies” (code 869).

Comedy Central on Paramount+:

Paramount+ offers on-demand access to Comedy Central’s impressive back catalog. You’ll find classic shows and stand-up specials, The ad-free Paramount+ Premium Plan is $9.99 a month, while the ad-supported Essential service costs $5.99 a month.

NextUp:

NextUp is a niche streaming service that specializes exclusively in comedy based in the UK. It features weekly live streams, exclusive stand-up comedy specials from rising stars and established comedians, and a unique revenue-sharing model that directly benefits the performers. Plus, there are no ads or contracts. NextUp is available worldwide either on a Roku or Firestick. Due to it being based in the UK NextUp comes in at $25.48 due to the exchange rate. 

Amazon Prime Video:

While not exclusively focused on stand-up, Amazon Prime Video still offers a substantial collection of comedy specials. You’ll find performances from well-known comedians and hidden gems waiting to be discovered. APV is currently $14.99 a month or $139 a year.
