  It’s official, summer vacation is over for our household, our three children started school last Monday with an as to be expected lukewarm reception. As they’re growing older, they’re all starting to assert more independence, wanting to walk and bike to school by themselves, hanging out with friends after school, not to mention any extra circular activities such as band or afterschool clubs that have them away from home. This year we’re trying out an app that lets them have their freedom while also giving Mom and Dad a little bit of breathing room, never having to worry about what happened if someone comes home a little later than normal (and forgets to call).  Life360 was conceived in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in 2005 with the goal to help families have peace and mind about where their immediate family members are. There are quite a few options to choose from when you decide to cut the cord, and a lesser-known option is the Onn Android TV box which I've been testing for just over a month now.   The Onn box is deceptively tiny in both performance and cost. Priced at $20, this box sure packs a punch. Set up took less than 10 minutes, all I had to do was connect to my Wi-Fi, put in my google account information, and tell the box what apps to start downloading.
