It’s official, summer vacation is over for our household, our three children started school last Monday with an as to be expected lukewarm reception. As they’re growing older, they’re all starting to assert more independence, wanting to walk and bike to school by themselves, hanging out with friends after school, not to mention any extra circular activities such as band or afterschool clubs that have them away from home. This year we’re trying out an app that lets them have their freedom while also giving Mom and Dad a little bit of breathing room, never having to worry about what happened if someone comes home a little later than normal (and forgets to call).
