Favorite Streaming Services of 2022

Streaming TV has really taken off over the last few years, and with that the landscape has changed a lot. New services continue to release, prices continue to change, and content seems to switch from service to service. Here is an updated list of my three favorite streaming services for 2022.

YouTube TV – Starting at $65 per month, YouTube TV is the cheapest live tv streaming service that includes local channels. YouTube TV is currently my favorite streaming service due to its easy-to-use interface, unlimited cloud DVR, easy to follow TV guide, and a channel lineup that that is hard to beat.

Hulu with Live TV – Hulu starts at $70 per month, which is on par with most of the other live tv streaming service pricing, but for the same $70 per month Hulu also throws in Disney+ and ESPN+. Making this service very appealing to families with kids. Hulu is one of my favorite services because they offer a good mix of live TV and on-demand content never leaving you without something to watch.

Sling TV – Sling is the cheapest of the three services at $35 per month, but that is because they do not include the local channels. Sling TV makes it into my top three because of the value they offer their subscribers. For $35/month you get a good channel lineup that covers news, sports, and entertainment, the ability to customize your plan by adding on additional packages, and an easy-to-use interface and TV guide.

Be aware of digitally altered images.

Everyone online, at least once, has fallen for an image that has been edited. Detecting manipulated images is essential to verify authenticity and prevent misinformation. Here are some techniques and tools you can use so you don’t get fooled again. Visual Inspection: Look for unnatural distortions, especially around specific features.  Warped lines, blurry edges, and pixelation may indicate manipulation . Analyze lighting consistency.
