ExperienceIQ

Along with Mid Century’s advanced new wireless router and the Mid Century Fiber App comes the feature of ExperienceIQ. ExperienceIQ lets you control restrictions on devices connected to your network, prioritize network traffic, and manage user profiles.

Setting restrictions is a very important and key aspect of ExperienceIQ as it allows you to block certain content, applications and websites that may be unsafe or harmful for your kids or family to view. These are all easily accessed through the restrictions page in the Mid Century Fiber App. Say you don’t want your child accessing YouTube or another site that could have potentially dangerous videos for your kids to watch; with the Mid Century App it is very simple to go in and restrict your child’s devices from accessing YouTube.

Network prioritization for your devices allows for maximum speeds from your network on those specific devices that you choose over your other ones. This feature can be very useful for such things as downloading large files on a computer, gaming, and streaming video meetings. Through the device priority page on the Mid Century Fiber app, you can set prioritization for certain devices as well as the ability to set it up for a duration of time, such as if you were working from home and downloading and uploading large file loads.

Additionally, you can do things such as set screen times for your user profiles of when they can be online and offline. This feature is helpful with children when it comes to bedtime or for setting and scheduling online and offline times for schoolwork.

That's right, even though the work may not be for your property, responsible do-it-yourselfers and companies want to make sure that no underground asset gets hit when the work gets underway on the properties next door. So, don't be alarmed if a locator shows up to your home one day to let you know that they'll be marking your yard. The alternative could add up to costly repairs or even injuries.  What is 811?
